I am traveling to Baton Rouge for the first time this weekend. Can anyone give me any tips on parking? My first trips to Fayetteville and Athens this year were much easier because the fans there gave me great suggestions on where to park. I hope to get some good ideas here too. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

That ought to do it. Avoid the high crime neighborhood just north of campus. Big free grass lots on the river road. Bad post-game traffic. Be patient.

Thanks ... is there any difference/restrictions between the free lots (levee, hayfield) on the map? Any idea of the distance to the stadium?

You will be able to see the stadium from just about any of the free lots. If you are not handicapped you shouldn't have a problem distance wise from the free lots. Just get there early.

No real difference between the free lots. It's along walk from the levee, but all the close lots are paid permit parking. Streets and parking lots on the east side of campus are often available and still a long walk . . . but its a nicer walk.

I just heard that there are no parking spots left. Bama fans are urged not to come.
