I don't know if this has been posted, but is anyone else concerned about Pat Henry going to Texas A&M? Pat Henry is arguably the most successful coach in LSU history and I believe that he would be a huge loss for LSU. http://www.2theadvocate.com/stories/071004/spo_henry001.shtml
That would be a bad thing for LSU but God knows he deserves the right to look at offers, being at the top of his profession and only making $167K a year.
I would have thought he would have been making more but track is not a money making sport. I have to confess that I ahven't been to an LSU track meet since I was in school and I only went then because I had friends on the team.
LSU needs to pay up. Dominance in other sports helps LSU in the big 3.. anything to get the name out there..
Politics here? Is it just a matter of money, or is there something going on here? I guess he just wants a new challenge. Dominance in track is especially good for the football program.
