Stats are one thing. I was relaying what I had heard anbout his poor work habits. To my knowledge, none of those three you named receivers ever had that problem. Bowe had eyesight issues. Davis had an injury issue and Doucet was caught in the numbers. Last season was an excellent opportunity for Tolliver to take control of the position and he failed to contribute even marginally outside of junk playing time.

I recognize his talent and it is such that he should be producing more. He is so much more physically gifted than those you named at this stage in their careers...

I never heard that TT had bad work habits or was slacking off. I heard he had a hard time with the playbook and the coaches did not trust putting him in critical situations. One unconfirmed reason for this could be dyslexia that Clair mentioned awhile back regarding the play wrist band that caused him confusion. So essentially it could be a problem that could be fixed easily if done right because it is obvious he has all the tools.

Perhaps I shouldn't have said "bad work habits" because that's not what I specifically heard. What I had heard was that he has not improved his route running which I assumed was due to bad work habits or not applying himself (which is why a kid gets that rep because route running is notihng more than attention to detail and repetition). I was unaware of the dyslexia. Perhaps it has snowballed and in a confidence issue? I need to ask around again because it's been awhile.

Regardless, the kid has a bright future. I just hate to see it take several years before he becomes the superstar we know he can be like it did Bowe.

Being a true freshman last year might be a contributing factor.
