Did anyone else notice that when TNF was doing the player intros and they say the college they attended that Patrick Peterson said his high school and NOT LSU? Tyrann Mathieu who followed him still said LSU. Probably no big deal, but just found it interesting/odd since Pat has been a great Tiger ambassador in the NFL.
Former Oakland Raider Otis Sistrunk never went to college and they would introduce his as being from the University of Mars.
Patrick is always pumping up LSU, it's no big deal. Players sometimes like to give a shout out to their old HS.
Ben's ungrateful and immature but he has a point. The NBA makes players go to 1 year of college to keep the NCAA schools happy...(their free farm system). That's a year of indentured servitude and keeps people from a year's pay. Simmons should be mad at the NBA and NCAA....not LSU.
He's really just angry he had to enroll in college and miss a year of NBA. I wish they'd force all college athletes to stay 3 years not bc it's right but bc they make college sports better. That's all I care about.
