If the Patriot Party siphons off the wackos, I will jump right back in to the centric GOP. While I like Biden, so many of the Dems are beyond stupid/crazy. Kind of painful sometimes watching those idiots and thinking they are on my team!

    What so wacko about them??

They (and Biden) want us to be in the Parris Accord.
They (and Biden) want open borders.
They (and Biden) want a national minimum wage.
They (and Biden) want Single Payer Socialized Medicine
They (and Biden) want this whole transgender thing .. with the bathrooms and such.
They (and Biden) are stuck on the this social justice crap.

I'm really curious as to just what you are referring regarding those "stupid/crazy" folk.

3rd party would be the wrong thing to do. Re-vamp the GOP. There are more Trump supporters in GOP than there are RINOS. GOP is Trump's party now. The leftovers have no where else to go. They certainly won't become Dems the way their party has shifted left.

No, the message that the GOP needs to get out is that we are the party of the people and the Dems are the party of the elites. That is the message that will sink the Democrats. They are no longer the party of the people - they pursue policies that are harmful to the people. That is the message we need.

I agree with everything except the statement that the GOP is Trump's party now. I think the GOP needs to distance itself as far as possible. Recruit some new blood and convince the elders that they better get their sh*t together or they are going to be looking for new jobs.

Not advocating one way or the other but 3rd parties are historically hard to form and sustain. The last was the Republicans in 1856. There have been many attempts since.
It will be especially hard as the impetus behind the Patriot Party is defensive. It’s not bringing anything new to the discussion. In fact by any measure it’s trying to appeal to a minority of the voters.
To be successful a party needs to appeal to a expanded base and bring new ideas or initiatives to the table. Trump is fool’s gold.
There are many opportunities and great potential to generate a majority over the Democrats and the left. The Patriot party needs much more than a rejected president to succeed.
