He couldn't win a debate against Joe Biden. Of course his is the Democrats favorite choice for speaker.

There is a lot of his libertarian father in him, but he is strictly in the republican playbook on the major issues-immigration, gun control, abortion, etc. His biggest issues are taxes ( he is a flat tax advocate) and the deficit (he wants to slash income) and he says a few reasonable things as long as it doesn't stray off the republican reservation. I wager to say he is smarter than most of the GOP candidates, but he is more ideological than pragmatic. If he ever got out of the primaries he might center himself enough to get some moderate support. But right now, he knows he must goose-step to the beat of the right wing drums.

My biggest objection to him is that he is seriously anti-environment. He dodges and weaves when asked about evolution and climate change and never takes a clear position, but he makes enough skeptical noise to pander for republican primary votes. But he is careful not to make anti-science remarks, so I don't think he is truly a science denier, he just has no balls and is avoiding the issues for political reasons.

Then why does Harry like him so much?

You mean he's just like HRC who has pandered to the Bernie et al wacko liberals and shifted way left on TPP, Keystone and so many other issues, right?

If you want to make a comment then make it. Don't try to put words in my mouth.

You made a comment about P Ryan that had a point. I asked if you believed the same of HRCs dance to the left. Not a tough question to answer.
Yes I know HRC has shifted to the left out of fear she will lose the progressive wackos. More evidence she is not fit for office... Not for pandering but for poor judgement. She doesn't need to as she's the only viable D in the race.

He misquotes Ayn Rand a lot. He is pretty douchey. He has pictures taken of himself working out.
