Pretty wild, huh? I would have preferred that we sent them a later pick than the 3rd, but actually I think it is a win-win deal for both teams.
Same. He wasn't coming back here no matter how bad we wanted it and next year would be the last that we could get compensation. Now, if we can just sign Derek Carr or Jimmy G., to go along with our 1st round pick that we wouldn't have without this, then we may be in a position to make some noise next year.
