There is just that thing of the high voltage electricity needed to do this and the quantity needed that requires a bigger plant that is feasible. Anything is possible, amigo. But practical and doable are quite different things.

Was it a Ronco II, 4-wheel drive? I drove one for 10 years.

Typical spark plug voltage today is anywhere between 12,000 and 25,000 volts. Some go as high as 30-45kv

edison was a pussy. he not only didnt invent the lightbulb he didnt have the first patent. bulbs used with electric light existed 50 yrs prior to his own patent. he did, however, make them practical, affordable and figured out how to sell them. one person usually doesnt 'invent' something. they improve and innovate over years or decades. this is how edison ended up getting all the credick. our history books dont have time to explain the details so they got a lot of shit wrong.

“It takes a thousand men to invent a telegraph, or a steam engine, or a phonograph, or a photograph, or a telephone or any other important thing—and the last man gets the credit and we forget the others. He added his little mite — that is all he did. These object lessons should teach us that ninety-nine parts of all things that proceed from the intellect are plagiarisms, pure and simple; and the lesson ought to make us modest. But nothing can do that.” – Mark Twain

No, he improved on a dozen or so designs, but basically marketed it and sold it. He was more of the lightbulb CEO than the lightbulb inventor. Kind of like Al Gore and the Internet...well, more connected than that. I think!

Sure, but it causes a big gasoline explosion of millions of molecules and generates plenty enough power to recharge the battery and power the vehicle. Fueling a vehicle with water has a long, long, long way to go.

I'm putting my money into Kentwood and Dasani. If the stock crashes at least I won't go thirsty
