I'm currently watching a documentary on the Smithsonian Channel about how Japanese spies gathered data on Pearl Harbor which greatly aided their attack. My conclusion is that our intelligence agencies blew it missing numerous opportunities to report suspicious activities that would have stopped the attack.
During my Air Force career & in my last civilian job I had the opportunity to visit Hawaii numerous times. I visited the USS Arizona and the museum at Pearl Harbor. One of the most moving experiences of my life.

wearing that uniform makes you realize it could have been you. I suspect you would willingly trade places should fate have decreed it.
