texas seems to think he's leaning hard towards them? I believe he's supposedly the #1 QB for next year. anybody seen this kid in action? does he like LSU?

He's been going to LSU practices since he was in the 8th grade so I would see we are in the drivers seat. I would liken his situation to Early's last year. Longtime LSU guy, been to the campus on many occasions, seen many games, gets to know a lot of the players. Hopefully all this will favor the tigahs over the horns and any other team after him hard.

I'd say LSU is leading for his services at the moment.

Agreed. This is one that might come down to signing day, just because he will enjoy his recruiting trips, which he should. I do think he is a strong lean to LSU.

I heard it is between us and Miami. I know everybody gets Tx from that report that was done by the texas sportswriter. But I have a little inside info that it is us and Miami with a slight lean to us. :geaux:

It's hard for me to believe that he has serious interest anywhere else at this time. LSU is the guy's favorite team and is doing extremely well right now. I could see him looking elsewhere if LSU was down in the dumps like during the 90's but all signs point to Baton Rouge right now.

To what inside info are you referring? All that I've heard (including some inside info of my own) and all that I've read point to it being a battle between LSU and Texas. The only time Miami enters the picture is when you read a Miami board. ;)

Ah... ok. I think Don is mistaken on this one. At this time, it is a battle between LSU and Texas with LSU holding the early lead. It may change when he's taken all of his visits but that's the way it stands now.
