NOT - If USC is #1 and soooo awesome, how come there is ABSOLUTELY NO scuttle about Pete Carroll going to one of the open pro jobs? Just had to point out the obvious....

BTW - Right after the ESPN Classic 2 hour version of the Sugar Bowl, they'll be playing the Rose Bowl - of course that game will be on in prime time on the West Coast!

Carroll failed pretty badly as a head coach in the NFL, so he probably has no desire to return there. He seems better suited for college.

Hey remember the time Dan Marino fake spiked the ball at the end of the game and hit someone for a TD pass,,,,HAHAHA that was Petey's Jets

The NFL tried Pete Carroll and and like Spurrier the NFL couldn't get rid of fast enough. He was what you would call a BUST!!!!!! Don't expect to see his name linked to any NFL jobs for many many years to come!!!!

Ask anyone here in Boston on Pete Carroll's coaching abilities and his ability to control a team of grown men...He's gutless.

    ...clueless too...

I would guess that makes them tickled pink(no pun intended) as they will probably get to keep the coach they want for a long time without all of the "to NFL" stuff, I am sure of it. If you post that on their site they'll love it.
