Great to see another Tiger drafted. btw, I think the NFL teams are crazy if they pass on Jessie Daniels, he has one of the better chances than most second day draftees to eventually become a starter, and will be a special teams player from day one.
I guessed that Pittman would be a 5th round pick, but he was very underwhelming at the Senior Bowl so his stock fell quite a bit. I also figured that Jesse Daniels would be a 6th/7th round pick as a multi-year starter on some very good LSU defenses.
As a wise man [Mike Tyson] once said: "I'm [Chase Pittman] gonna make you [Brady Quinn] my girlfriend..." . . . . But seriously, Joe Thoms (Brady Quinn's new boyfriend) is gonna kill Chase if he goes anywhere near Quinn.
Happy for Chase. Jessie Daniels should sign a UFA contract. Ryan Willis also stands to have a shot at a UFA. He was told to get an agent last week and was projected to be a 6th rounder.
