  6. The members of the band are fans too. You also severely underestimate how much worse the band would sound at half strength, not even mentioning how much harder the half time show would be to create.

  8. The problem I have with the band situation is the Sugar Bowl stating in the contract that the LSU band MUST perform at halftime, but they also have to pay for every ticket. That's like an employee paying an employer to work.
