Wouldn't work, Bama is getting too much pressure. Play action is working, in part because JV can pick up the blitzes that JR can't. Play action passes to Buster and Bowe over the middle, Bama hasn't stopped it yet, hopefully Jimbo knows this.
As long as you have the threat of a run it'll work. Bama isn't dropping linebackers back yet, so keep running it until they do at least.
