I rank Saban as #1 head and shoulders above the rest. After that I might rank Mark Stoops as 2. He does more with less. The next few O, Mullins, Jimbo and Kirby are tied for 3rd. There’s not enough real difference between them to shine a light.

The media love affair with Dumbo and Eddie Monster is quite baffling. Former has done nothing really great since he had crablegs but they act like he is the second coming. The latter even less so. On paper Kirby has UGA as a perenial contender but they cant seem to get over the post-season hump. Have a feeling O would be rated much higher if he hadnt sheet the bed with last season. Couple that with off-field scandals and I suspect this season will be make or break for the media. Do well (10+ wins) and they will be right back to fluffin. Do less and he's one hit wonder (cough Chizic).
