Its hard to get good pork chops anymore. Why do most feel "slimy". Not spoiled but coated with some preservative i guess.(what is this preservative?) And not tasty like pork chops use to be.

I bought some from Whole Foods the other day and they felt 'normal' And they tasted like pork chops of 20+ yrs ago. Delicious.

Guess it's all about where you buy it. I'd suggest a local farmer and you'll almost certainly get better meat and at a better price.

My wife has always rinsed off and patted dry the chops before she preps them. Also adds a little salt free Tony's, pepper, grated cheese and smoked paprika to the bread crumbs. Delicious.

The big problem with chops is there Is a very fine line between food poisoning and the best chops ever and also and over cooked dry ass chop. It's a small sweet spot
