  4. Not for it. May sound like a hypocrite because I did a lot of grass some acid in college and in Nam. However I believe it is a gateway drug. It will be too easy to get especially for young preteens. We will regret the day it is legalized nationally.
  5. I believe it’s a gateway drug more for the fact that it’s sold on a black market than for its properties.
    Just like during prohibition criminals are selling it and don’t care as much about product quality. They can and do push other drugs.
    As many note in this forum they smoke without the desire or need to do other drugs.

  8. Generally agree, and it being seen as the illegal "forbidden fruit" makes it especially attractive to teens. Aside from that it's no more or less a gateway drug than alcohol. By far, the biggest gateway drugs are prescription pills. Colorado has lower opioid abuse than average, and it's teen marijuana use has steadily declined since legalization.
