By that logic, should Florida State leapfrog us for kicking the snot out of their pushover much worse than we did? A road win against any SEC team shouldn't be punished. Not when the teams behind you beat nobody's at home. LSU will have plenty of steam to leap them once we have wins against worthy opponents like Georgia, Bama, A&M, Florida, etc while they beat Temple, UConn, and Memphis . We can take the spot on merit by who we beat when we beat them. Not this week.
Florida State could conceivably jump to #6 this week. They were that impressive. Jameis Winston is the real deal.
There's a difference between oh you blew out a team by this many and we blew out a team by this many.
