I'd rather not have him when I look at some other recruits we could land, but if Nick thinks he is good enough than I'm sure he is.

I don't know why K. Doll ( linebackers coach ) would be heavily recruiting him but if Fisher wants him, that should be good enough for anybody. All it takes is for one good hit on a Q.B. in one game to take them out for a while and if you don't have good back-ups you can kiss that run for the N.C. good-bye.

Coaches recruit territories, not positions. Therefore, it wouldn't be unusual to see, say Will Muschamp, recruiting a running back
if the kid is in Muschamp's assigned recruiting territory.

Thanks G_Man, I was wondering why a linebackers coach would recruit a Q.B. That is what I really like about this board. I didn't get flamed right away for being "STUPID" Rather an LSU fan with knowledge passed it along. I hope this "Saban Class" continues. Thanks Brett ( and others ) for keeping this board "Saban Approved"

I didn't know that either. Ditto what edyel said.

That's one of the reasons why losing Lance Thompson to UCF could be a concern, because his recruiting area was N.O., and look at the great strides we've made down there after getting KILLED by everybody else (Mich, Mia, FSU, etc.).

The last several years have been good for us in the Crescent City.

But he was going there to be a DC, and ya can't fault a man for following his dream.

bayar your right but i think overall it has to do a lot with saban. he has made a commitment to recruit N.O. hard and it has paid off.

    You're right...

In military parlance N.O. should be considered a
    "target rich environment"...

It's so nice to see Nick lockin' up the border...
