This year, yes...he cannot get it done. But give the man a break. Do you recall how pathetic Drew Brees for 3 years at San Diego? Now all of a sudden he 'gets it' and he's in the top 5 in all QB stats in the entire NFL. Now, I pray it doesn't take JR 3 years to 'get it', but damn he will get better...I just want to see what Flynn has to offer since we're alreay playing musical QBs.
that's just it, everyone is saying he has the tools. Not disagreeing with you but ...one of the "tools" is being confident and leadership and putting some "touch" on the ball. this guy has NONE of those, now maybe he will have them by next year, I don't know, but at this point I'm sorta doubting it. I don't think he has the "head" to be a QB anywhere. he is a great athlete, who has been "touted" as a great QB all his life yet probably should have been placed at some other position long ago.

Loor Philter, I hope your'e right. But I just don't see it happening. I haven't seen anything this year from JR that would lead me to believe that he has what it takes to lead us to another national championship. NOTHING. I just don't think he has what it takes. I hope I'm wrong. I too am holding out that Flynn is our "diamond in the rough". We'll see.
our QB situation sucks. JR is not improving. Randall is getting worse. Flynn is not getting a shot. we need a big time prospect this signing period. We need to either steal RP from East St John, or get another big time guy who can run and pass. Lane looked good tonight.......that may prove to be a big loss for LSU if JR can not get it together. but a win is a win.....8-2 is great, lets beat the piggies and go 9-2! :geaux:
