Me too. It's really hard to come back from things in your past like JL endured against Alabama a few years ago. JJ had a great game, and with Bama's LBs he was probably the best choice, I am pulling big time for JL to recover. :geauxtige
This is an excellent point. Jefferson didn't play lights out, he was nearly running a wild cat/option offense. Jarrett Lee is still my guy with JJ coming off the bench. Look at ARK's defense; we're going to need Lee to beat them.
That's a good way to put it and accurate. I think that JL is still the QB but that JJ will get much more PT. We'll see.
I was a little surprised that CLM didn't give trust to JLee any more after he threw the second pick. I mean it was two bad decisions made by Lee, but isn't there an old saying that the best way to test a QB's true character is to see how he reacts after throwing a pick? Lee has got us this far this season and CLM knows well what kind of a person/QB he is. If I was the coach I would have put JLee back onto the field and let him find ways to overcome the obstacles. Of course JJ has done his job fine enough to help us pull off the win, but I just felt like JLee deserves to receive more faith in him.
