Can't say that I have any inside info on this, just curious on opinions... Stephen Rivers apparently had a great off season this past year and has been under Cam Cameron's tutelage. Brandon Harris will be a January enrollee, so he will have a full spring under him. Obviously Jennings go the start in the bowl game. The question is will Miles allow a true QB battle or is his starter already set?
Whoever starts next year will have earned it. Just like Anthony Jennings earned #2 over Stephen Rivers and Hayden Rettig.
After watching the Iowa game, everyone is in play. I would not even be surprised to see Rivers starting. Rettig might very well have a great shot at starting next year.
Well, Rivers was smart enough to realize the clock management error in the last seconds of the game vs Iowa.
If I had to guess (based on history / JJ-JL), I'd guess Jennings is going to get 100% of snaps next year, barring injury.
He already has his starter and even though another one does WAY better and give him/us (not you) a better chance to win he's not going to play him anyway He doesn't want to win so many games next year. He said all those 10 win seasons are making LSU outshine USL so much.
