1. Take away the quarterback of the Ole Miss team what would we have had . their QB got two TD's rushing .. So we have another coach next season , we still do not have a qb
Haris will be the same next season as he has been this season Receivers tend to get hurt trying for his passes

    Harris LSU 26/51 324 6.4 1 2 ( 1 td 2 int QBR 33.2)
    Kelly Ole Miss 19/34 280 8.2 2 0 ( 2 td's 0 int QBR 85.5)
Against Texas A&M look for more of the same
We need a qb for next season , but can we get one ??
  2. we have much bigger problems my man. we're hoping A solves B.

  3. Who's job is it to recruit and develop QBs? Where does the buck stop when you have never recruited and developed a successful QB in 11 years?
  4. We threw 51 passes today? Holy shit did he even throw 51 in the first 3 games?

See you throw early in the season so when you're called upon to have a 30 or 40 throw game you are ready for it.
  5. Say we get Jimbo, his track record says he'll have a QB ready to play at least at a level that that particular position won't lose us games.
  6. I'm willing to cut Harris a little break. He's a true sophomore. He throws into traffic too often and rockets the ball on his check down passes, but there are times when he can hit 6 straight passes to take us down the field. And my god, that pass to Diarse last night was beautiful.

Someone said this last year, but how badly do you think Gus Malzahn would want Harris if he could get his hands on him. The kid's got talent, but he needs some more experience and guidance.

  7. Agreed, when you've got coaches around the country getting redshirt freshmen and sophomores ready to start and play at a high level, nobody is going to swallow this bullshit about how it takes 3+ years to become solid at the position.

  8. For kicks and giggles, let's take a look at what Cameron had to say back in February on the upcoming season:

Q: So can they do it? The storyline you can't escape is the success of LSU's 2015 season depends on finding a steady, heady, playmaking quarterback.

A: "I know where everybody's primary concern is right now with this team. I almost want to say what (Packers quarterback) Aaron Rodgers said last season (after Green Bay started 1-2).

    "RELAAAAAX.

"I don't say that arrogantly at all. From what I've already seen in the last month, I'm very confident our quarterbacks will play extremely well this season."
  9. Q: Do you have a minimum amount of touches per game in mind for Leonard Fournette?

A: "The best way to phrase it is his role will always be significant. Here's why I give you that. When I coached with the Chargers, I put a number like that one year on LaDainian Tomlinson. Everybody in the stadium was like, 'There's 1 touch! There's 2!. . .he only got 18 touches today!

"Here's what we're not going to do - run a system that the defense dictates we have to throw the ball instead of handing it to Leonard. We're never going to put ourselves in that position in critical games, in critical situations.

"Now, first and second down early in the game, we've got no problem pulling the ball out of Leonard's stomach and throwing it to Travin or Malachi or whoever else it might be. We first want to give it to Leonard or Darrel or put them both in the game at the same time as we have done, because Darrel can play fullback. We're going run behind Jerald Hawkins and Vadal Alexander with a 230-pound back smokin' downhill at you. That ain't going away. That's a good thing."
  10. LOL it will take at least 3 years to do that do you agree
I do not think as much as you want him to have , But using your thinking , he has played since he was in the 5th or 6th grade , right ?? How much training did Leonard at this level??
yes he gets a few beauties , but the level at QB play has been the difference in the last 3 games .he reminds me of JJ To have the great running game we have to have a passer that gets the pass in the hands at the right place more than a few , this is his 2nd year right ???
