What is this thing called? I need to buy a new one depending on the cost. If it's too much I will just drill those two pieces out and then just run a bolt through it and the blade and secure it with a nut.
  4. Looks like a moldy golf ball washer.
  5. Im not sure what it's called flange maybe..but shane those were some good size pins what the hell did you hit with your lawnmower blade and did your blades come flying out?
  6. I have learned that it is a blade adapter. Cost me $9 but also had to buy a new blade so $30.

I didn't hit anything. My son told me the string was all hanging out so I was ready to rewind the spring but as I was fooling with it the pull cord wound back up. When I tried to start it I knew something wasn't right. The blade was still on but not by much. I think the free spinning blade sheared them. Or knucklehead hit a rock and didn't tell me.
  7. Matter of fact now I know he hit something. The blade would not have had enough force to shear those studs if it were loose.
  8. Agreed he had to hit a hard ass rock

  9. Probably not since you likely loosened it by wrecking shit prior.
  10. Look, I have been known to "wreck" things but never my own things.
