  4. The sky's falling!

So, just so folks appreciate this weekend's actual affect on our season, we lost to Florida and move UP in the rankings. Not that I want that to be a re-occurring pattern, but perhaps it's alright that we went to the #6 rank team's home court played them tough and lost? ... :) apparently, folks that know college basketball think the Tigers are still a good team.

LSU winds up moving a spot to #25 in AP and they crack the Coaches' poll also at #25. They moved down one spot to #19 in CBS's Sportsline poll. The official RPI still has us out at #21 in the NCAA RPI poll. BUT, based upon a more up to date RPI simulator, the tough schedule has the Tigers moving up to #15, with the number 3 ranked strength of schedule ranking! (http://www.warrennolan.com/basketball/2006/rpi).

Now, the boys do have an opportunity here. Win two with Miss St. at home and Auburn on the road, and we have a chance to not only stay ranked, but move up... :geauxtige
