1. I have been going to LSU games for as long as I remember, therefore I accept without question the fact that it never rains in Tiger Stadium. Unfortunately, Ive taken some friends to LSU games where they somehow managed to get wet (i.e. Oregon St) and they dont believe me. Does anyone know where this saying came from?
  2. I'd like to know the same....maybe its because everyone is so drunk they don't realize its raining??? :hihi:

Personally, even if it is raining I could care less as long as i can watch the TIGERS! :geauxtige
  3. My last game in the student section was against Steve Walsh and the Miami Hurricanes. There never was and never will be enough alcohol in the world to forget that it was raining/storming/monsooning that night.

I got back from getting some food, and my date was sitting in the rain. "What happened to my beautiful LSU umbrella?"

"This." The wind had shreaded it.

    We left at halftime.:bncry:
  4. The actual saying is: "It never rains in Tiger Stadium on Saturday nights" And its true, it never does. We've had a few 100% humidity events but chance of rain ? .... NEVER.
  5. That is not true.....in 2004 the first home game it poured....

Only reason I remember is because everyone fussed me bc i had a c-section 2 1/2 weeks prior to the game and i still insisted on going. I stayed through the game in the rain until half time then i had to go.
  6. Hatcher, I think I just had a blonde moment...lol.....100% humidity...nevermind me!!!
  7. I only speak the truth !
  8. The fog liquified, it wasn't rain actually . . .
  9. I think you had another. :)
  10. The sweat from our players mixed with the tears of our opponents, proceeded to evaporate forming a huge thunderhead located directly over Tiger Stadium.
