Batting .491 through 29 games! What an unbelievable feat. I don't recall ever seeing an average this high at this point in the season. Just wanted to give the man some props on here!
Listening to Maneiri on WWL last night, he said Rhymes is very content being a high percentage singles hitter. He's not the kind of guy who goes 3 for 4 with 3 singles and thinks, "I've got to get some more power." Great leadoff hitter mentality, IMO.
Outstanding hitter. Hopefully being hit in the helmet this weekend won't adversely affect him at the plate.
