just because there are more avenues and wider mediums available to express one's opinion doesn't mean that manners should be permitted to be optional.
I suspect the issue on forums/boards has much more to do with anonymity than it does the numerous changes in society. The less mature souls among us tend to show less respect to each other when they know there is little risk of repercussion for their actions.
with regard to Tiger Stadium, and IMHO, it's a terrific experience once inside the stadium. But for visitors, the experience outside the stadium is the only thing holding back LSU's Gameday experience from being the preeminent venue in all of football. The sad part about it is that many of the ones that are the cause of the problem aren't even there to go to the game, they're there to get their party on at the tailgate.
I've shared my personal experiences here before, so most of you know that I'm fond of my trips to BR, but my biggest dissapointment is watching some of the poor behavior occur while law enforcement officials watched on with amusement.
Just my $0.02, but it wouldn't take much effort to cure the problem and turn Tiger Stadium into an experience that all fans would put on their list of "Things To See Before I Die"
