OK, ya'll beat us fair and square. LSU is better than I thought. Bass is an animal and Davis has got to be the impact freshman of the year. The thing that gets me is how quick he is and how well he runs the court. Our team is probably going to win 2 more game the rest of the year and head to the NIT. Anyway, congrats on the win and best of luck the rest of the year.

Even with Frazier back they not looking too good? I thought they would make some noise this year in the tournament with a healthy Frazier. Are there more injuries, or a lack of depth?

I guess the departure of Timmy Bowers hurt more than they thought?

I think the Bulldogs will get better as they get use to having Frazier on the floor and if they make more than half their foul shots.

Yeah, wasn't Bowers their PG and now they have a freshman or sophmore running the point?

We do miss Bowers, no question. There are several differences in our teams, but two really stood out to me last night. First, your guards can shoot the three. Second, Bass and Davis really go to the basket with authority. As good as Roberts is, Bass is better. I don't know if he's going pro after this year or not, but I really believe he will make a better pro player than LR. Basically, we have three good players (LR, Powers and Frazier). Hopefully, we will get better with Frazier in the lineup. The ugly part is: we have to go to Kentucky Saturday on play on national TV. Ouch.

I don't think Kentucky is unbeatable. That is a statement though saying Bass is better than Roberts coming from a bulldawg. Roberts was projected as a consensus top 10 pick if he would have came out last year huh?

Shane Power is an enigma. I've seen him put 20 pts up like he did against LSU and then get 6 the next outing. He completely disappeared in the NCAA tournament against Xavier last year after dominating the SEC Tournament.

"First, your guards can shoot the three." What game were you watching? Our guards combined for 11/30 from the floor & 2/13 from 3 pt. land. Granted, Tack's 2 three's came at crucial moments in the second half, but they were not very good last night shooting the ball. You would think with how good our inside game was going last night that it would have opened things up on the outside. They had their shots...they just wouldn't fall. I give Bass about a 5% chance of coming back next year. He's got an NBA body, he's athletic, plays good "D", has developed his outside shooting, & is a very good FT shooter. His major drawback right now is his ballhandling skills & he'll definitely have to work hard to improve that part of his game. He'll be a very good pro ball player IMO. Good luck the rest of the season.
