Is LSU the only school that has a recruiting party? I've heard that nobody else really has one. And we've had it for what, 11 years?
Ole Miss has one usually at Tunica. Jay Walker of ULL also with 1420am tired to copy off of LSU's. I think 4 people showed up.
I think other schools have them, but nobody has one that can compare to ours. We had around 5,000 people this year.
According to Buddy Songy, LSU is the only college that does it on a large scale like this. Other colleges have small luncheons for signing day, 50-100 people or so. He also reported that Ohio State representatives were present to observe the setup and procedures of the day. OSU would like to have their own large scale event starting next year.
I was told there was someone from "The" Ohio State University there to see how everything was set-up and done so they could try to start their own.
I think "The" Ohio State University was ranked #12 by rivals for recruiting this year. They might want to work on that also!! :helmet: #7
