So much is made about stars, numbers, best player in the state, etc. LSU's class was a good one by most services. But a closer look tells something else. 15 True Freshmen have played this year, if Dural wouldn't have gotten hurt we would have had 16. Five have started at least 1 game.
Along the line of stars, Jalen Mills and Debo Jones were both 3* players by both Rivals and Scout.
Did you know Mills wasn't even the best CB on his high school team, said by many, Bryson Echols was the 8th best player at the postion (Mills was 48th) and in the state of Tx. Echols was the 9th best player and Mills the 80th. Echols ended up at UTx and I can't seem to find any stats(Guess he'll take a Red-Shirt this year). Mills is 5th on the LSU team in tackles.

Les and the guys have done a great job of finding talent. Looking past the stars.

All I have to say about the star values is Jacob Hester 2*. I could go on to say Keiland Williams 5* but, well.

Staff has been spot on with finding the talent now if we could just get an OC with the reins taken off!

Looks like Mills is happy. Might have to call some of my UT friends.
