Every President since day one has had to give America what she needs.....someone to hate. This isn't a Trump invention. Dubya did great with saddam and boobama with osama. With Reagan it was the evil russian empire, Kennedy russia and cuba, LBJ with vietnam. Trump ain't my daddy and I ain't his bitch. This is about something much greater than Trump.

Despite the fact that a large number of people would be in favor of legalization I don't think it's a big enough issue among the majority of voters for any politician to risk losing the votes of those who would be against it.
