My wonderful team teaching mate is leaving my school and going to a charter school "in the county." Though I call her my Padawan, she is already, at 25 a Jedi Knight in the teaching profession. One of the last, great graduates of the now defunct NC Teaching Fellow Program. She was kind enough to make this very special pencil holder for me, as a departure gift, to me.I will miss her terribly in what I hope will be my final year!
