1. Remember the 1988 LSU Miami game in Tiger Stadium-- It was bad weather and the crowd was trying to get into the game. The Miami players started taunting the TS crowd, mocking them to make louder noise to disrupt their offense.

Would be great to smack them this time around.
  2. LSU is 8-3 all time against Miami... with '88 being our last game/loss.
  3. I think a timespan of 17 years makes it somewhat difficult to plant seeds of revenge in a team... Just my humble opinion :)
  4. Miami football program in general has improved a lot since 88. The past doesn't matter it will be the game played that day on the field that matters. It is a great match up the best non BCS bowl game for sure.I just hope Miami's offense continues to struggle as it has all year long.It will be up to the defences to decide who wins it.

  5. Improved, they won the nc in the previous year. They had their peaks and valleys just like LSU.
  6. I too was at that game. Miserable weather. I can remember saying it never rains in Tiger stadium, but that game was miserable. Many left at halftime, but I stuck it out.:bncry:
  7. they might of improved as a program with wins and what not but there still a team full of thugs.
  8. I remember that game, what a miserable night. Absolutely pouring down rain.
  9. That was my freshman year--what a beating.

And Miami was QUITE a power at that time, to the poster who suggested otherwise.
  10. The players on our team were 1-3 years old at the time. I don't think they care about a revenge factor.
