17 of the 21 players on @lsufball 2-deep defense have recorded a tackle for loss this year. LSU has 30 TFLs thru 3 games.

Thats just silly, when you consider we Beat Oregon & Stae who average what 500, 600 yards a game?

We are not just smacking around little sisters here, these are big boys we are laying the wood to

Even more amazing, we only had 14 TFL before last night...........we added 16 more last night against an SEC team who was averaging 300+ ypg on the ground and went for 400+ yards Offense against Auburn.

    The D is monstrous.

A related, and even more ridiculous stat. Through three games, Karnell Hatcher, who has been our starting linebacker the whole time, has amasssed 1....1! solo tackle and 1.....1! assist.

Everyone else on our defense pulls his weight. More, even, because they have to pick up this guy's slack. He is horrible. Period.

Amen. You need to add his ridiculous off sides penalty on MSU 3rd and 4 that gave them a 1st down. First Danny McCray, then Hatcher (MVP for R-Kansas last year).

I haven't noticed Hatcher at all this year. Has he really been that bad. I didn't know he was even in the game until the offsides. Of course, our D-line tackles everyone so I would imagine it's tough for an mlb to get tackles.

You answered your own question. He's been there all year -- your middle linebacker -- and you haven't noticed him at all. Yes, he's been that bad.
