after the TD did you see him point to his wrist? ( invisible watch ) and look up at the fans and players..... meaning it's time... his time... about time.... he is hungry and I like that.

    Ridley looks like "The Diesel"

Ridley should be our starting running back. Explosive and great cutting ability.

Don't tell the Charles Scott faithful that.

He is clearly most explosive than Scott.

That's exactly what I said last night, too. Fast, powerful, explosive into the holes, looks to run over people. Granted, it was against TUs #2s, which equals our #7s, but it was awesome to see. He was taking over Murphy's spot before the injury for a reason. In fact, considering he injured his knee, I am surprised how good he looked already.

We have to just hope and pray he gets in on a few plays vs Bama to see if we have a "better" option should Scott falter

Well, we are not comparing apples to apples. Would Ridley look that "explosive" or that "fast" if he were in against a quality #1 defense? Maybe, maybe not. Obviously, he should get some opportunities to prove himself, though. They should definitely give him a few touches against ALA as a change of pace and see what he can do. CS is definitely a great RB, but he is slow to the hole as others point out. Once he is past the LOS, he is a beast.

Well my projection for Scott is 12 carries for 26 yards vs Bama.

I hope that won't be the case and that we won't go to that option 12 times if it isn't successful.
