17. Ricky Jean-Francois, DT, LSU Another explosive SEC tackle who does a great job firing out of his stance and shooting through inside gaps. He uses his hands well to stay off blocks, and possesses long arms and sudden lateral quickness. Jean-Francois lacks some power in his lower half and struggles being physical and driving his way upfield when engaged.

19. Ciron Black, OT, LSU A big, girthy tackle with long arms and a strong upper body. When Black gets his hands on you, the battle is over. He has smooth lateral footwork and re-directs well on an island. He has the quickness to handle speed off the edge and the power to really drive defenders off the ball. Black has a smooth, compact punch and re-coils quickly. He is always balanced and rarely over-extends in pass protection.

29. Brandon LaFell, WR, LSU LaFell is a long, lean wide receiver with good speed and strength after the catch. But it is his concentration and body control that make him such an intriguing prospect. Nearly every game, LaFell catches a ball away from his body that just makes you say, "Wow." He displays good burst out of his breaks and runs sharp, precise routes. He is one of the more polished receivers in the nation.


Where is Charles Scott?

I thought Scott would be on there too. Isl is right, we havent hreally had to think about him leaving.

So who would be inf front of him? Here is Scout.com's top 25 RB's for the draft next year (releleased in April).

Where would he fall? Im guessing somewhere between 5-10 but I wonder what he would run in Indy.

Seems like you were right about how good Lafell has become in the eyes of NFL scouts.

by their write-up, im surprised RJF is the highest of the three.

and its probably too early to expect much gushing over scott, he's really only had one performance worthy of national attention

I remember on this board when RJF was signing with LSU. If I recall he signed several days late because of something with his Dad and USF or something.
We almost didnt get him signed.
Amazing how it worked out.

thats what he does best, sorta the opposite of dwayne bowe who seemed to always be out of position in relation to the ball. lafell turns into the route much smoother with his hands in place.

his progression has been remarkable.

no hype coming in=off the radar. keiland would be the one mentioned in all the preseason rags. he should be in the top 5 or so but all hinges on his 40 time.

I'm not exactly sold on Stafford yet, especially as the #1 underclassman. he's not even the #1 underclassman on his own team, IMO. To have Beanie listed at 20, b/c of supposed durability issues is laughable, especially when they have him listed as the #1 RB available if he comes out. Politicians talk out of the sides of their mouths less than rivals, and it seems that they just kinda go with the rest of the national media at times, seemingly unaware of their contradictory statements. puzzling, to be sure.

BTW, I'm sure y'all are ready for FLA, time to assert yourselves as the class of the SEC. I'm hoping for a good ole fashioned beatdown.
