Sorry to disappoint you, but LSU won the championship in 2003. USC was the AP trophy, but it was not THE national championship.

Of course, you are all technically correct and I don't dispute your point, but it's just a graphic to symbolize all the NCs USC has won outright as well as all years we were co-champions.

Before the BCS there was no trophy, per se, so technically the crystal is wrong for all those years, too.

I realize there is considerable angst on LSU fan's part to that particular USC championship, but no offense is intended and, regardless, we were co-champs in 2003 by virtue of AP finish - that's all.

The good news is there will be no co-champs this year. Look forward to seeing LSU in NOLA.

Back to the thread. I'm not sure how many camps he's participated in but I'll check with our recruiting guru.

I'd be interested to find out what you hear about his LSU visit Parso. He does hold an offer from CLM so there must be something there.
