I didn't watch them, had a chance to and decided very easily against it. Two reasons: First and foremost, I am a TECH fan and view LSU as a rival in all areas of competition. It would be kinda like Duke rooting for UNC. And secondly, even though I don't want to hear it, at least 5 people will "enlighten" me to the events of the game.

Why do you think we don't play LSU? They do not want anything that can be considered a rival in the state. Playing Tech would only tell the state we are rivals (especially if they actually come to Tech to play). We will always be too much of a threat for LSU to play us on a consistent basis.

Can't talk myself into pulling for lswho to win an ugly dog contest much less an NCAA title. They have looked pretty good though, men and women. Great time for their students and alum and all of the bandwagon, red-neck, illiterate masses that the aforesaid students and alum couldn't care less about. Bad time for those in the state who have the capacity to think for themselves.

We have a BETTER reason than any of those schools to hate LSU. we fight for the same students, recruits, media, money, how many times do we have to explain this? All you LSU fans are doing here is confirming our beliefs that yall are stupid, illiterate dumbasses.

By the way, anyone that had Dr. Stokley at Tech, he went off on LSU in class, explaining his hatred for the school, it was awesome. He pulled a guy to the front of the class that was wearing an lsu hat, gave him a Tech hat, and told him to wear that to class every day. Dr. Stokley should be our President!

When I attended ULM, I had a different LSU necktie for every day of the week. No one ever said a word about it. Not to my face or within hearing distance anyway. :hihi:

I am sure they would be excited about it, from what I have read about that proposal, Tech would get the Med school in shreveport, and control of the LSUS campus. They would get a tighter control over the North Louisiana fan base and probably end up getting very good attendance numbers to all of their athletic events.

My high school stadium was better than this. Nosebleed doesn't even reach midway on the trees!! :hihi: Nothing like spending a Saturday night here with 58 rowdy fans!
