I did not use an inflammatory word to describe people of Chinese decent, just commented on their driving. Plus, that was a shot at Peabody who is going to China soon for his annual WWE show. You guys use "Japs" all you want, I was just making an observation.

I have a hard time believing this for a couple of reasons... 1) The LSU - ARK game on the Friday after Thanksgiving with the Boot et al was a designed deal with the SEC and TV folks to create a "rivalry" type of game in the West. 2) I can't see AU, BAMA or the SEC wanting to take anything away from the status of the Iron Bowl.

In '92 when the SEC AD's were picking which weeks they wanted off both Alabama and Auburn picked the last weekend before the SECCG for the purpose of preparing for the Championship game. It wouldn't make sense for a team to change that unless they wanted to drop a week off in the middle of the schedule now that we are at 12 games per year...and I just don't see that happening. The comments about the Iron Bowl losing its luster... :hihi:
This rumor is just an internet talking point, I think. It really doesn't seem to have legs. Not much comment from the usual inside sources.
It isn't anything that I believe will happen. I thought it was strange that I even heard of it again. Replacing bama with LSU makes no sense whatso ever. Even worse would be closing georgia, bama, the LSU, then a possible SECCG.
