Russel Sheppard question

    What do you think we will do with Russel Sheppard?
    • Full time QB from the start
    • Shares snaps and mostly in for running plays
    • Doesnt play at all

    Will eventually catch passes from JJ imo. If JJ couldnt run then I would think differently.

    Percy Harvin for at least 3 years. Maybe QB in wildcat type formations.

    On most of his videos you never see him throwing the ball but i think he could be like a Terrel Pryor

    Yeah that's the part where it gets a little sketchy. JJ shows me enough to consider him a dual threat. Bringing in Shepard doesn't really "mix it up" or force the opponent to defend us differently.

    Shepard will see the field as a true freshman and will make an impact. How he does it is the only question.

    I think he will play a good bit and then the coaches will be able to evaluate all the QB's from there. That would be my guess, but he is too good of an athlete to keep off the field.

    I also think i remember hearing that a main reason he came to LSU is because he would be able to play QB:confused:
