I say give it a week. These are 18-23 year old kids and it wouldn't be the first time someone from that age group spoke impulsively.

Sad thing is in an offense with any amount of imagination, Shep would be as well known as the honey badger. We've seen the sparks when they actually find away to get him the football. Miles offenses are now have always been and will probably always be low fat vanilla.

Neither offensive coordinator has called plays that take advantage of Shepard's legs.

Everyone is upset right now. Most of all the players. I'd take everything we hear in the next few weeks with a grain of salt.

    EVERYONE is hurting right now.

I think Miles wants to move him to QB. He probably sees a lot of Jefferson in Shep.

I have said this more than a few times. Shepherd only needs to know how to pitch the ball or run it...........he does.

I think this is key. He basically took a giant dump on a season's worth of very hard work and resilience by not even trying to win the damn game. He would probably lose me, too. As dejected as we fans feel, imagine how the players feel. I, quite honestly, find it hard to look forward to next season. What's to stop him from trashing another great year? How do you motivate yourself with that in the back of your mind?

He silenced his haters for the entire season, then poured gas on the fire with that sh!t sandwich Monday night. And I must say that the criticism is well-deserved.

    Criticism, certainly. Fatalism--absolutely not.

    We'll be fine next year.
