He had a few "questionable" remarks about the fans. Something about booing. C'mon, we don't boo, naw never. :hihi:

Wow. Some people really need to learn how to let things go. I don't even think about the Saban leaving thing anymore, and haven't for over a year. Saban is so 2 years ago. (My name has not changed because, well, it's my name).

I agree with this. I have never seen a popular coach in college leave for what he thought was a better opportunity, where the home crowd was not bitter. There are usually denials that talks are going on, because if you don't take it, why would you want to alienate the fan base? I've not seen one that everyone would look at and say, "that was surely well handled".

How many coaches hold a press conference at the school they are leaving? I can't seem to think of any off the top of my head.

Did Miles hold a presser at OSU to announce he was coming to LSU?

Saban had to leave because he had nothing left to accomplish. He had always been an NFL guy and after he had won the national championship, he was just waiting for the perfect NFL job to come up. You cant blame him for doing what he thought was right for him. ITs just like in big business, CEO's change companys all the time. Saban wasn't born an LSU fan so you might as well get over it cause I guarantee you he is. He was a great coach and we were lucky to have him. He turned our program around so quit whining.:angryfire :laflagwav

I don't like the way he handled it either. I wish he had made the announcement in September so we would have had zero recruit interest.
