Article in today's Monroe paper says Saban was making rounds in Monroe, Bastrop, Rayville, etc. in preps for Coach Miles departing. Guess he just can't let go of Louisiana. Is he getting beat on recruiting in Alabama? Does anyone think he has a chance to get the guys we are recruiting up there? What's the latest on Edwards and Tolliver?

He has been everywhere so no need to create some conspiracy. Every coach is out recruiting right now, except for UT and LSU. Considering our main LSU locks for this year and next have not heard much from our staff maybe Les and co. should look to Saban and others for pointers.

:miles: Agree. Seems like a lot of kids are saying they haven't heard from LSU lately. I would hope they (staff) would be working a lot harder to lock up the top kids in La.

Saban is telling Edwards and Toliver to sign with LSU, cause he's headed there after Les leaves for UM.

Supposedly Les told Edwards that he's going to be at LSU for a long time...

Hell after beating all the Bama's, Croom's probably already pulling weight there. I hear those Bama mothers love good Bargains. How can you beat a 7-5 season with a Aluminum Can built Athletic department. Surely not with a 4 million, 6-6 juggernaut.

Saban is looking for some playmakers.

Didn't get much interest out of Green who he tried to pry away from Georgia.

I'll reserve my judgement until February.

If he pulls in a top 15 class, fine.
If he is under 20, Alabama might as well start looking for their next coach.
