I heard from a somewhat reliable source that Coach Saban was offered a 10yr. 43 million dollar contract from LSU. If anybody has any info. please let us(LSU fans) know.:lsug:
That's way too high ... but you never know what Arliss will get for Nick ... he's WORTH $4 MM USD/YR. ... and I'd give it to him. Look for a $3 MM USD/YR. DEAL ... those numbers are closer to making him the #1 PAID Coach in America ... his just dessert.
Who cares? Why, I do...It's kind of the reason I posted that it was interesting... BTW-Nick Saban-if he wins his next game-contracturally becomes the highest paid coach in America, so those that are calling for a reworking of his contract perhaps might look at what Stoops will make this year, as I think he's the highest paid collegiate coach at this point, and I believe that Saban gets paid a certain amount what the highest paid coach's salary is...
If Saban wins the National championship....shoot...........we'll elect him as governor of Louisiana.........He will be able to get ANYTHING he wants! And if I were him I would have an expansion to the Stadium.
Shoot!! Just the name NICK itself will spread like wildfire in Tigerland after Jan. 4th. There will be a baby boom 9 months later.
