What could go wrong here? A fine level headed young man like Jameis should fit right in to the New Orleans culture.
Jeff Duncan is praising this move, pointing out how the team seems to be becoming the QB development center of the NFL. Like that's their job! So Winston comes here, learns something about playing QB and then moves on.....and how much does the time spent "developing" Winston for someone else take away from developing Taysom Hill for our future?
I don't think Hill will ever be an every down starting QB. If he had that skillset he would have thrown more than 14 passes in his career. I love Taysom for what he does bring to the table but the Saints needed somebody who can play extended time like Teddy B. But Jameis Winston??? I would rather have Cam the Scam Newton.
If needed, I hope Jamies’ eye surgery went well. Also I understand he took less money to be a saint and develops.
Except that he completely sucks. Maybe Payton, Carmichael, Brees can improve him, but its going to come by giving him reps that should be going to Taysom. No thanks,
