1. Key personnel situations:
Brees has been "limited" at practice for 2 days, game status still unknown.
Kamara was out Wednesday, limited yesterday; he could be back
Cook has not practiced, and I doubt we'll see him Sunday. Ditto Smith and Robinson.
Apple was limited Wednesday, but a full participant yesterday, so he could be back
Trey Hendrickson has practiced fully for 2 days.

David Johnson has not practiced for Arizona, and Christian Kirk has been limited.
  2. Yesterday Mike Detillier said he had seen Brees the day before and his right hand was still swollen. I know Brees is a fiery competitor and wants to play but goal was that if Bridgewater had go play for 6 games that the Saints go 3-3 and stay in position for making the playoffs but that goal has already been greatly exceeded.

I would hold Brees out until the Falcons game to give his hand max time to heal. It would be stupid to risk aggravating or reinjuring his throwing hand.

  3. If his hand is swollen, there's no reason for him to play. I doubt he will. Probably a little 'gamesmanship' going on just to give AZ one more thing to prepare for.

  4. with the way we're playing, drew wouldn't see the field until after the dirty turd game...
  5. he ran out of gas last year. a fresh brees down the stretch will be a difference maker
  6. Hearing reports that Drew is playing tomorrow

  7. Probably a good thing. He and the receivers need to get their timing back. I think Teddy will play also.

  8. Maybe. I trust Drew, Payton, and the medical staff and obviously they have more insight into the situation, but purely as a fan, I'd feel better about him waiting until after the bye to come back. It's only one more game.

  9. Looks like Wil Lutz has developed a case of the heebie jeebies. Missed his 3rd field goal in 2 games, this one a 46 yarder. Can't blame this one on the Chicago grass and Soldier Field conditions,

  10. I would still rather have Mark Ingram but I'm liking LaTavious Murray more and more,
