First the bad news....defense is very depleted going into tonight. We've lost Davenport and Rankins for the year, and Vonn Bell is out tonight as well. We get A.J. Klein back, but Kiko Alonso is not ready, so we'll have 4 starters out on defense. Rankins and Bell concern me most. Bell has had a knack for the big play all year, and we'll miss Rankins push up front against a very good Colts running game.
Now the good news....Jared Cook is expected to play, as is Klein as I said above. Drew's flair for the dramatic on national TV gets a shot to continue. He broke the records for single season pass yards, consecutive games with a TD and career pass yards on MNF, and gets a shot at the career TD pass record tonight; 2 to tie, 3 to break. What's been forgotten in that pursuit is that its been a race with Tom Brady to catch Manning....who would get there first? Well, Brady had his chance yesterday and blew it. Against the pathetic Bengals defense, needing 3 to tie, 4 to break, Brady got 2. So the updated career TD pass standings are: Manning 539 Brady 538 Brees 537 I sense another game-stopping moment for accolades coming. Wonder if we'll get flagged for delay of game again?

We FINALLY make a waiver claim for a position of need. Still wish we would have tried to get Suggs because with Rankins and Davenport gone for the year, it was more of a need, but I'll take it.
It so weird how the Giants released him because he used the word 'retard' and wouldn't apologize (or whatever) but its ok for him to go to another team? Doesn't really make sense. It helps us so I'm not complaining, but if what he did was so bad, why is it ok for him to play for any team except the Giants? They should have just suspended him.
We did try for him, so did Baltimore and SF, but the Chiefs got him because they have the worst record of the four.
