Former 5* CB Saivion Smith announced today that he will transfer from LSU. I find this a surprised, he appeared poised to get playing time, with a great shot at starting next year. Dunno, he played 10 games as a true freshman. Guessing he just didn't like the competition cause there's plenty of it. Still, he was projected the #3 on the depth chart. Next man up
He will have to sit out a season wherever he goes unless it's an FCS school. Should have stayed. Jackson and possibly Toliver will be in the NFL in 2018
Really disappointing news. I was very excited to see him at LSU. Not a good run from corners from that area at LSU since PP7. Saivion and of course Rashard Robinson.
