i was 3 rows from what happened...Bowe stole a ball from the 10 year old ball boy toward the end of the game then b-lined it to the locker room. Canes players witnessed the "theft" and were upset, so they all went after Bowe. EDIT He was 12 http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/sports/13521843.htm
If that was what happened, then DB should be reprimanded for such a silly thing. The team had a big win and humiliated Miami already; why rub salt in the wound? So you are saying that you saw him take the ball from a ball boy? You saw this yourself? Not just hearsay? The reason I'm asking is that I've heard several different versions and the only ones saying he took the ball from a ball boy are you and some guy on miami radio. Everyone else is saying the ball was taken from a miami player and everyone knew it was just a joke. Well, everyone except the two idiots that got knocked out.
Like I said...I was 3 rows away...literally. in more detail...Bowe took the ball gave it to one of the trainers to hold...she eventually gave it back to the ballboy..then bowe took it away from him again right when the last play was over, then ran it to the locker room.
The Day I believe a MIAMI paper about what happened in the tunnel is the day quit reading the news. Er something like that. Point being! Even if he took a thUg ball, there was no reason for Miami to follow him into the LSU tunnel. That's asking for trouble. It reminds me of the '96 Florida game, I got into the stadium about an hour before the game and there was a Florida fan with a Huge banner in the section below us. Someone from the Student section ran over and jerked the banner out of his hand and a chase ensewed. The Florida fan followed him all the way UPTO the student section, but once the person made it there - he stopped and went back to his seat. Same thing should have happened with Miami. There's some areas you don't go into unless you're asking for trouble. And the OPPOSING TEAMS tunnel is one of those areas. Besides as much crap as Bowe's went through with the big lUser's he deserved to play around. Miami was just acting like a whinny bitch after getting beat down in the game.
